Sweet Radishes

I was really surprised by this recipe - I never thought to cook a radish before. This is great!

Ingredients
2 bunches radishes
1 TB sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
Directions
Wash and trim radishes.
In a medium saucepan, bring 1/2 c. water, sugar, and salt to a boil.
Add radishes, reduce heat to maintain a steady simmer.
Cover and cook until radishes are tender when pierced with a fork.
Uncover and cook until liquid reduces to make a glaze and is shiny.
Serve hot or warm.
