Baked Breakfast Apples

Ingredients

2 medium apples

1/2 c. apple juice

2 TB snipped, pitted whole dates

1 TB raspberry spreadable fruit

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 c. low-fat granola cereal

Directions

Chop the apples into bite-sized peices, then combine the apple with the dates in two individual casseroles and sprinkle the cinnamon over them.

Pour half the apple juice over each apple mixture.

Bake, covered, in a 350° oven about 20 minutes or until the apples are slightly tender.

Stir spreadable fruit and dollow on top of the apple mixture.

Sprinkle with granola and serve warm.
