Peach Salsa

Ingredients

4 c. fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and chopped

1/2 c. chopped onion

1/2 c. chopped red bell pepper

4 jalapeno peppers, minced (or to taste)

1/4 c. chopped fresh cilantro

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 tsp ground cumin

1/4 c. distilled white vinegar

1 tsp grated lime zest

Fresh lime juice of half to whole lime (to taste)

1-4 TB sugar (to taste; if peaches are fresh and sweet enough, you don't need to use any at all)

Directions

Combine all ingredients for a fresh salsa.

 

WARNING: Do not can untested recipes. Keep your salsa recipe in the refrigerator for a few days or in the freezer for more long-term storage. Only use recipes from Ball or the National Center for Home Food Preservation for home canning.
