Garlic-Herb Pinwheels

Description:
Easy snack for a party or an appetizer for a special meal.
The recommended drink to serve with this is a Gin Sling
1.5 oz dry gin
1.2 oz sweet vermouth
3 dashes Angostura bitters
Top off with seltzer
Stir
Serve with a lemon twist

Ingredients
1.2 c. Chopped mixed fresh herbs (for example, parsley, chives, and mint)
2 Garlic cloves, minced
2 TB Extra-virgin Olive Oil
Coarse Salt
Ground Black Pepper
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°.
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients (except for the pastry).
On a lightly floured work surface, unfold the sheet of puff pastry. Spread pastry with herb mixture, and roll it up.
With a sharp knife, cut into 1/4" rounds.
Arrange rounds on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and bake 15 minutes, until puffed up and golden on the edges.
Lay the sheet on a wire rack to cool for 10 minutes.
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
