Use as a dip alongside salsa, with chips. Have on tacos, enchiladas, any dish you'd like.

This recipe came out of a booklet that came with my Cuisinart Mini-Processor. It was a wedding gift, and I use it quite frequently. 


Group One

1 clove garlic

2 green onions (first cut in 1/2" pieces)

1 slice of jarred jalapeno, without seeds


Group Two

2 ripe diced avocados

2 TB lime juice

1/2 tsp cumin powder

1/4 tsp powdered coriander

1/2 tsp salt



1 chopped tomato


Chop Group One 10x using mini-processor (or chop finely with a knife).

Scrape down the chopper's bowl.

Add Group Two and chop continuoulsly 15-20 seconds (or mash Group Two together in a separate bowl, then add in Group One and mix thoroughly).

Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving, to blend the flavors.


Top with OR stir in chopped tomato just before serving.
