Microwave Baked Apple

Description:

At my bridal shower, my mother and older sister put together gifts for everyone: an apple corer/slicer, tied with a bit of gingham ribbon and this recipe, written on a card.

Ingredients

1 medium apple

1 TB brown sugar

2 tsp. butter

a pinch of cinnamon

Directions

Wash, slice, and core apple.

Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.

Dot with butter.

Cook uncovered in the microwave 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or unil almost tender.

Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
