Recipe: Zesty Italian BBQ Meatballs

Meatballs:

4 pounds ground beef

2 cups bread crumbs

4 tsp minced garlic

1 tsp dry mustard

2 onions, chopped

1/2 cup fresh Italian parsley, minced

1 tsp black pepper

4 eggs, beaten

Sauce

1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce

1/3 cup ketchup

1/2 cup water

3/4 cup tomato paste

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 tsp liquid smoke

Combine meatball ingredits; form into 1" balls.

Bake the meatballs in a shallow baking dish at 350° for 20 minutes.

Transfer meatballs to slow cooker. Combine all sauce ingredients adn mix thoroughly. Pour over lmeatbals.

Cover; cook on Low 4 hours or High 2 hours.
