Simple Balamic Reduction

Use this as a salad dressing, as a glaze over poultry, drizzled over cabbage... the possibilites are endless!

Ingredients
1 1/2 c. balsamic vinegar
2 garlic cloves, crushed (optional)
1-2 TB brown sugar (optional)
Directions
Put all ingredients in a small saucepan. Stir to mix in the sugar, if you're using it.
Bring to a boil.
Allow the mixture to reduce by half (about 5 minutes).
Simmer until it's the consistency of syrup, then fish out the garlic.
Done!
